Overview

Prep Chef/Utility produces delicious, wholesome food items for our guests with consistently excellent products. Ensures all food prepared meets the standards of quality and freshness. Properly stores and rotates food products. Follows established recipes, presentations, portions and temperatures (hot food hot, cold food cold) to provide guests with consistently excellent products. Maintains quality standards of products and procedures while working quickly, efficiently and productively throughout the shift. Also provides a consistently superior facility for guests as the main maintenance person. Properly cleans and maintains smallwares, equipment, and facilities. Follows maintenance guidelines. Looks for work to do when time permits.

 

PROFILE:

Candidate must possess a professional demeanor, professional appearance. Has strong organizational skills, a high sense of urgency, able to multi-task and prioritize, is detail orientated, and has a sincere appreciation for maintaining an impeccable surrounding and loves serving healthy, delicious and nutritious food.

Qualifications

  • Candidate must have experience in cooking, maintenance experience would be a plus.  
  • Experience in working independently in a high-volume situation.

Responsibilities

  • Exemplifies exceptional cleanliness of the Prep and HOH area of the restaurant.
  • Daily cleans the entire restaurant including exterior
  • Correctly prepares all prep items to spec; works within safe food-handling, costing, and productivity guidelines
  • Assists in on-going cleaning of dishes and smallwares for the team.
  • Cleans and maintains all equipment
  • Establishes and maintains pars for prep
  • Assists team members in daily functions as needed
